Explore and understand the definition of true Osteonecrosis. Learn the etiology and pathogenesis. Then explore the sites of true osteonecrosis like hip, knee, foot/ankle, humerus/elbow, hand/wrist and Spine.

Understand the normal variation of the foot/ankle and pelvis. Learn what trauma or stress related images of the knee and spine look like. Understand how to identify these anomalies to better support your patients.

Jeffrey Rich

Biography:

Dr. Rich received his DC degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and then completed a three-year fulltime imaging residency. After passing the board-certification examinations, he accepted a position as an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Sciences Department at Northwestern.

While at Northwestern, he lectured extensively for the imaging and continuing education departments, provided imaging consultation for the campus based film interpretation service, and treated patients in the University Health Service. In 1999 he was honored as Northwestern's Teacher-of-the-Year.

In 2003 Dr. Rich accepted a position at National University of Health Sciences as the Director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. He was also Faculty Director for the Imaging Residency Program and Director of the National MRI Center.

Dr. Rich re-joined the faculty of NWHSU in September 2005. He enjoys his time lecturing and spending time "in the dark" interpreting imaging studies. In his free time he spends time with his wife and nine children and serving in the local church.

Timothy Mick

Biography:

Dr. Mick is a board-certified chiropractic radiologist,educator and author, with more than 30 years of experience. He earned hisdoctor of chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (NWCC) in 1986and completed his radiology residency at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic(LACC). Dr. Mick then led the NWCC radiology department for 17 years,developing one of the first campus-based chiropractic radiological consultationservices and also initiated and directed the radiology residency atNorthwestern. Since 2007, Dr. Mick has been in fulltime clinical radiologypractice with Center for Diagnostic Imaging (now RAYUS Radiology).

Dr. Mick is a past President of the American ChiropracticCollege of Radiology, American Chiropractic Board of Radiology and AmericanChiropractic Association's Council on Diagnostic Imaging. He has served as aconsultant for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Minnesota Board ofChiropractic Examiners and Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists and has alsoserved on multiple editorial boards and review panels for professionaljournals, as well as authoring multiple journal articles and textbook chapters.Dr. Mick has received the NWCC Faculty Award for Excellence in ClinicalPractice, Minnesota Chiropractic Association Educator of the Year and MinnesotaChiropractic Association President's Award.

Stephen Fridinger

Biography: Dr. Fridinger is a board-certified chiropractic radiologist with Center for Diagnostic Imaging. He provides professional physician services at Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) centers in Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin and South Dakota.Dr. Fridinger earned his undergraduate degree at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota, and his doctor of chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University. He also competed his radiation residency at NWHSU.
