Dr David Farrar is a 2014 graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University and joined the basic sciences anatomy faculty in September of 2015. Having taught a number of courses in anatomy, physiology and microbiology, Dr Farrar is known for his engaging classroom "vibe", his dedication to human connection and the role of anatomy in living life every day. 

Barbara Brower is a Nationally Board-Certified Reflexologist with over 4 decades fulltime in her field. She wrote the protocols and frequency for the National Institutes of Health Studies $3.1 million dollar grant awarded to Michigan State University in 2005-2010. This 5-year study proved that Reflexology was beneficial with side effects that women undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer were experiencing. In 2011, a second NIH Grant was acquired for $2.65 million to further the study of reflexology with cancer patients.

She's produced 3 wall charts, Foot Reflexology, Hand Reflexology and her very popular 'The Body Talks' Chart. She's produced two DVD's, Stress Relief, incorporating the 9-step protocol used in the study. Co-authoring Hand Reflexology Self-Care for 6 common areas of congestion.  She's founder of a Licensed School in the State of Michigan offering certificate level training in Foot Reflexology and Hand Reflexology, partnering with NCBTMB to offer continuing education for massage therapists.

During Covid she started a YouTube channel to help her clients learn how to cope with their stress.

Rebecca G. Sundeen, nationally Board-Certifiedreflexologist, is the Lead Trainer for Branch Reflexology Institute.  She has had her own practice, In StepReflexology, and has been a full-time practitioner since 2005. She ispassionate in expanding the awareness of the benefits of reflexology and whatthe body has to say.

Dr Tuchscherer joined the faculty at Northwestern HealthSciences University in 1985.  She hastaught courses in Histology, Pathology, Neuroscience, Neurodiagnosis andChiropractic Philosophy.  She has beenthe Chair of the Foundational Sciences Department since 2002.  Her PhD (Neuroscience, University ofMinnesota Medical School, 1987) dissertation explored various aspects ofperipheral pain transmission; and her current areas of interest are studyingthe neurological basis of manual therapies, the effects of subluxation oninflammation, and the science of applied kinesiology.  Dr Tuchscherer earned her Doctor ofChiropractic degree (summa cum laude) from Northwestern College of Chiropracticin 1991. She has been the Professor of the Year four times at NWHSU.

Dr. T, as she is known to her students, values the processof teaching and learning: "Teaching is one of my life's passions.  I love the moments of understanding forstudents, when you see that "ah, ha!" look on their faces.  That's my greatest reward.  I am honored to have helped someone on theirway to becoming a healer."

In addition to her work at Northwestern, Dr T has a privatepractice in Chiropractic and Acupuncture in Northeast Minneapolis.  She loves fly-fishing, canoeing, and caringfor nature. She and her partner have 3 grandchildren and three dogs to match!
