Biography: Carolyn Tague brings over 18 years of adult education and training development to her teaching and consulting work through Tague Consulting, specializing in massage therapy for medically complex clients.  Carolyn served as clinical faculty in integrative medicine education at a large regional hospital system and is in the process of launching a new hospital based massage therapy education program at UCSF.  Currently, Carolyn is also a practitioner for the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at University of California San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF) where she has a practice in the outpatient clinic, as well as providing in-patient massage therapy on the Hematology-Oncology and Infusion Center units.? She is a member of the pain clinic at Laguna Honda Hospital, SF and maintains a small private practice. Professional Associations include the Hospital-based Massage Therapy Task Force Founding Member, Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health (ACIH); and Recognized Education Provider and Educators Forum Committee, Society for Oncology Massage.  She has published research related to massage therapy and BMT/SCT patients, and hospital based massage therapy competencies.  Co-authoring with Gayle MacDonald, their forthcoming textbook "Hands in Healthcare: Massage Therapy for the Adult Patient" Hand Spring Publishers is due out in Spring 2020.
