Biography: Scott Shimotsu, PhD MPH is a research scientist with over two decades of healthcare and public health research experience creating clinical and payer programs for major chronic conditions that affect the US. In the past decade, he has worked with CVS Health and United Health Group R&D to develop innovative healthcare solutions in primary care. More recently, he has developed new products using AI capabilities in this rapidly transforming healthcare landscape. He has a passion for new practitioners to critically discern the benefits and risks of these emerging technology solutions.
