Instructor: Steven Mark Smilkstein

Biography: Dr. Smilkstein practices chiropractic at Victory Wellness Centre in South Africa. It is a multidisciplinary patient network system. He has special interest in acute injury and rehabilitation, sports injuries and managing sports performance in athletes.He is also a part-time instructor of clinical biomechanics and kinetics at the University of Johannesburg.

Chiropractic Sports Injuries (CCSP) #5 of 9: Lower Extremity Injuries in Sport

The purpose of this course is to provide doctors of chiropractic with training in the evaluation, treatment and management of lower extremity injuries in sports. Common lower extremity conditions seen in sport will be discussed along with the pathoanatomy, biomechanics, epidemiology, acute management and chronic management of these conditions.
12 CE hours. Online classes are available for 365 days from date of purchase. CE credit (if applicable) is earned in the calendar year the course is completed.
