Renee Broughten
Biography:

Renée Broughten (nee DeVries), DC, DACBR, is a professor in the Department of Interprofessional Education. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and, after four years of clinical practice, returned to pursue a residency in Diagnostic Imaging. She earned her PhD in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development from the University of Minnesota. Her research explored the impact of trust on the success of collaborations in health care.

Renée is a teacher at heart and feels honored to have been able to spend the past twenty-three years participating in the training of future health care professionals. She is committed to their success and strives to foster their growth on the critical thinking continuum. She is interested in evidence-based clinical practice as she feels that creates a solid foundation for providers from diverse disciplines to engage in interprofessional practice.
