Instructor: Kimberly Bensen

Kimberly Bensen
Biography: Kimberly Bensen is a doctor of chiropractic, with an undergraduate degree in nutrition, a master's equivalency in physiology, and a post-graduate specialty in sports injury and rehabilitation.

Through many years of self-guided research, involvement in multi-discipline professional learning venues, and successfully treating over a thousand TMJ sufferers, she has become an expert in TMJ issues. She developed the only process that successfully treats TMJD without drugs, mouth guards or surgery.  She contributed her expertise to a TMJD textbook and has taught chiropractors, dentists, and sleep neurologists about the latest research and treatment of bruxism and TMJD.

Her passion to help TMJ sufferers has led to opportunities to share her knowledge and experience as a speaker and consultant to other healthcare providers, as a member of the staff of multiple dental offices, a hospital facility, and as a university professor of neurology, anatomy, biology, chiropractic technique, spinal anatomy, sports taping, physical exams, aerobics and swimming.

Even with a busy TMJ clinic, and other professional activities, she finds time to enjoy hiking and biking in sunny California. She also sings in a blues band and has a health show on public TV.
