CST - Cranio-Sacral Therapy

Gain a general and working understanding of Cranio-Sacral therapy, including hand placement, palpation and evaluation, as well as indications and contraindications for use.  Additionally, participants will learn how to properly induce a still-point, which allows innate healing to take place.  You will learn the history, anatomy, physiology, and energy behind this gentle form of bodywork.  This course is a mix of lecture and a lot of hands-on practice, and is limited to 24 people.

  1. At the completion of the course participants will know the basic history of Cranio-Sacral Therapy and many of the prominent developers of various styles and philosophies.
  2. Participants will be able to assess and evaluate the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid through proper hand placement.
  3. At the conclusion of the course participants will be able to place clients/patient in a still-point, which is necessary for correction or aberrant movement in the cranio-sacral system.
