Lake Region State College's North Dakota Department of Health-approved non-credit 80-hour nurse assistant training program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to gain employment as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Programming consists of a combination of nurse assistant theory, lab and 16 hours of simulated clinical instruction. This instructor-led 4-week online course consists of only the theory portion (43 hours) of a state-approved 75-hour Nurse Assistant Training Program. It is designed to work in combination with a facility's state-approved 75-hour Nurse Assistant Training Program.
