Ann Pollert is the founder of AMP Consulting LLC, where she specializes in workforce development, professional development, leadership, recruitment, career exploration, company culture, and employee retention. She launched AMP Consulting in 2016 after being asked to develop a leadership training program for a local company-a program whose structure remains in use today.

Ann spent more than a decade recruiting employees for a heavy-equipment dealership, where she developed a nationwide reputation for building relationships, connecting talent with opportunity, and creating innovative approaches to workforce recruitment. What began as a part-time venture focused on a few special projects has grown into Ann's full-time work with a select group of clients focused primarily on workforce development and career exploration.

Ann also serves as a coach for Region III's Mobile Career Exploration Classroom, which visits schools throughout northeastern North Dakota. Through virtual reality experiences developed by CareerViewXR, students can explore more than 100 careers and discover opportunities they may not have previously known existed.

Ann holds bachelor's degrees in social work and criminal justice from the University of North Dakota. While she credits her education with helping her reach where she is today, she openly admits that her degrees did not prepare her for the passion and fulfillment she would find in helping young people understand their options and connect their interests to meaningful careers.

Born and raised in the Devils Lake area, Ann is a proud advocate for North Dakota and believes strongly in the tremendous opportunities the state offers its young people. Her enthusiasm, practical experience, and ability to connect with people make her a trusted partner to students, businesses, schools, and communities working to build a stronger workforce.
