This course is for paramedics seeking to earn or renew their PHTLS provider status. The course reinforces evidence based trauma assessment and management principles with an emphasis on rapid decision making, life threatening injuries, and prioritized intervention. Through case reviews, skill practice, and scenario based learning participants will learn and refresh core trauma concepts and apply current standards of prehospital trauma care. Successful completion meets PHTLS certification and recertification requirements for eligible providers.
