Course Detail: YES-1619 - Bridge Builders Engineering Lab (Grades 6-8)

In this engaging STEM session, students will explore the engineering principles behind various bridge designs, from classic arches to complex suspension systems. Participants will step into the role of civil engineers as they brainstorm and sketch their own blueprints for a structure capable of supporting a specific weight load. After the design phase, students will bring their visions to life by constructing physical models and putting them to the ultimate test in a high-stakes weight-bearing competition.
