Little Scientists at Work: Exploring the Magic of STEM (Grades 1-3)
Big discoveries, bold experiments, and bright young minds taking center stage! At Science Superstars Academy, every child becomes the headliner of their own scientific adventure. Campers dive into hands on experiments, fizzy chemical reactions, icy melt offs, colorful walking water trails, and splashy sink or float challenges, each one designed to spark curiosity and ignite wonder. As they predict, test, observe, and share their discoveries, young scientists build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a sense of "I can figure this out!" energy. With creativity, inquiry, and imagination lighting up the room, every day feels like stepping into the spotlight of a science show where they are the stars.

Shape Explorers (Grades 1-3)
In a "Shape Explorers" class, students in first through third grade embark on a hands-on journey to identify, classify, and create with 2D and 3D geometric figures. The curriculum uses interactive adventures like scavenger hunts, "feely bag" guessing games, and movement-based activities to help children recognize shapes in the real world. Students develop a deep understanding of geometric attributes such as sides, vertices, and faces while using STEM-based tools like marshmallows and toothpicks to build complex 3D structures. By the end of the course, young explorers move beyond basic naming to compare shared properties and understand how simple shapes combine to form their everyday surroundings. Students in Morgan County can apply for financial assistance through The Jacksonville Promise. https://jacksonvillepromis.wixsite.com/fundraising.
