Black Rocket: Minecraft® Designers (Grades 6-8)
If you love the game Minecraft and always wanted to design your own world, this class is for you! Learn how to create a custom map, design structures to share between worlds, build with Redstone and Command blocks, and create custom textures for you to import at home or share with friends. Projects from this class require the Java version of Minecraft. Tablet, phone, and game console versions of Minecraft are not compatible. Returning students can create more advanced projects that build on previous years. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

Black Rocket: Roblox® Makers (Grades 6-8)
Unlock the power of Roblox® Studio, the world creation tool used by real-world Roblox® developers! Learn how to build 3D models and create an adventure in your Roblox® world. Bring characters to life with unique animations you design. Student-created projects will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program.

One of the most defining features of any character is their face. Faces can convey so much personality, depth of emotion, and personal history in one relatively small area. In this class, we will be exploring the many ways to express faces through a variety of art mediums ranging from drawing, air-dry clay, painting, and collage/found object sculpture. You'll learn basic anatomical principles to create with greater realism, then develop an understanding abstraction of the face in a way that still remains the major elements of the character.

Tweens Yoga is a fun and active way to build strength, improve balance, and clear your mind. In this class, we'll practice yoga poses, stretching, breathing, and relaxation while learning how to focus, manage stress, and feel confident in our bodies. Yoga isn't about being perfect, it's about trying, growing, and feeling good inside and out.

Wildlife Wonders (Grades 1-3)
Join us and discover the world around you! Our state is home to an amazing variety of plants and animals that make it a truly special place to live. In this class, we'll explore our local ecosystem through hands on projects that spotlight its incredible residents. From colorful plants like Black eyed Susans and Milkweed to fascinating animals such as White tailed Deer, Beavers, and Five lined Skinks, the nature just outside your door will inspire our creativity. We'll also learn about the important benefits these plants and animals provide to people and the environment. To bring it all to life, students will create exciting 3D dioramas that show these organisms in motion within their natural habitats!

Winter Maker Studio (Grades 4-6)
Winter Maker Studio is a hands-on, creativity packed class where students become inventors, artists, and problem solvers, winter style! Inspired by the season, students will design, build, and experiment using a variety of materials and maker tools. From engineering cozy structures and crafting winter themed art to tackling fun design challenges and collaborative projects, kids will explore how ideas turn into creations. This class encourages curiosity, teamwork, and creative thinking in a welcoming studio environment. Whether students are sketching, building, testing, or re-imagining their designs, Winter Maker Studio is all about learning through making and having fun while staying cool and creative all winter long.

Winter Wishes Workshop is a cozy, creative class where students explore the magic of winter through imagination, making, and play. Designed for young learners, this workshop invites children to dream big as they create winter themed crafts, build imaginative projects, and take part in gentle design challenges inspired by wishes, kindness, and seasonal wonder. Students will use a variety of materials to bring their ideas to life, whether they're crafting sparkling snowflakes, designing a "wish keeper," or building something warm and wonderful for a winter world. Along the way, they'll practice sharing ideas, working together, and celebrating their creativity. Winter Wishes Workshop is all about joyful making, storytelling through art, and discovering that a little creativity can make winter feel magical.
