Girls in Construction (Grades 7-10)
Discover the world of construction with Girls in Construction, a hands-on camp offered in partnership with O'Shea Builders. Designed for girls curious about careers in the skilled trades, this experience allows participants to explore building techniques, project management, and job site operations through interactive activities and field trips to working construction sites. Campers will work alongside female industry professionals from O'Shea Builders and LLCC instructors, learning firsthand what it takes to succeed in construction careers. All tools and required safety equipment are provided. Thanks to O'Shea Builders and an LLCC grant, this camp is offered at a discounted rate of $25.

Gear Up! Transportation Exploration Camp (Grades 7-10)
This camp is an interactive, hands-on learning experience designed for those who are curious about how vehicles move people and goods by land. This immersive camp introduces students to high-demand transportation careers while building foundational technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and career awareness. Throughout the camp, students rotate through four exciting transportation pathways: Automotive Technology, Diesel Technologies, and Truck Driver and Training. Each pathway is led by experienced instructors and industry partners who emphasize safety, teamwork, and real-world applications.

Culinary Artist: Create Meals Like a Chef (Grades 7-10)
Interested in a career as a profession chef in the culinary arts, or just want to become the family chef? Join us in the kitchen to learn how to read and alter recipes to make meals your own. This camp focuses on understanding recipes, adjusting flavors and ingredients, and developing the skills needed to plan and prepare meals you can confidently recreate at home.

Watt's Up Electricians? (Grades 7-10)
Learn the fundamentals of electrical wiring through engaging instruction and hands-on lab experiences. Participants will practice wiring a light switch to a light, installing electrical receptacles, and building a custom lamp using a repurposed bottle to take home. This interactive program introduces basic electrical concepts while shining a light on potential career pathways in the electrical field. All tools and required safety equipment are provided.

Automation Nation: Inside the World of PLCs (Grades 7-10)
Curious about how machines think and factories run? In this camp students will dive into the exciting world of industrial automation including the technology behind traffic lights, amusement park rides, and smart manufacturing. Through hands-on activities and real-world challenges, campers will learn how Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) are used to control machines and processes safely and efficiently. By the end of the camp, students will have a strong foundation in PLC concepts and a new appreciation for the technology that powers the modern world. Perfect for anyone interested in engineering, robotics, or future technical careers.
