The Go Fourth Friday Webinar series is a collection focusing on content you need to help you go forth with your teams, your organizations, and in your community. All sessions will be on a fourth Friday from 12-1pm unless otherwise noted. Each series will cover a different topic. Our first series is focused on Creating Community in the Heartland. The second webinar in this series is: Creating Connections: A Community Engagement Model Introduction. When it comes to engaging the public, it is crucial for our communities and our democracy that we find avenues for meaningful engagement so those who participate can see that their involvement matters. This session will highlight the pillars of community engagement, the musts for trust-building in a public process, and the clarity of purpose needed to design meaningful, collaborative public participation. Together we will outline a foundational roadmap for participation that can strengthen community relationships and drive positive change.
