Biography: Dr. Martha Mason is agraduate from Governors State University with over 20+ years experience in themental health field. She has been involved with community mental health for herentire career and is passionate about assuring mental health care forunderserved populations. Dr. Mason focused the first half of her career ontreating adults with chronic mental illness, and the most recent half onteaching and working with at-risk youth and their families. She enjoys creatingprograms that serve the community and provide service learning opportunitiesfor graduate counseling students. Dr. Mason is a full time faculty member atNorth Park University and continues to supervise graduate interns and newclinicians in the community. She is active at conferences both nationally andinternationally, and loves to travel every chance she gets.
