Orientation to Eyelash Extensions

When you enroll in the Eyelash Extension Program (three course block) you will learn the skills to add an extension to a single natural eyelash, giving it a longer, slightly fuller look. Perfect for students looking to begin their lash artistry career. Monday-Thursday 8am - 1pm. Total program cost is $2500.

Principles of Eyelash Extensions

Course Two in Eyelash Extension program. Students will learn how to identify the various eye shapes; determine the appropriate application procedure; apply knowledge of adverse client reactions to products.

Intro to Blueprint Reading

A study of industrial blueprints. Emphasis placed on terminology, symbols, graphic description, and welding processes. Includes systems of measurement and industry standards. Also includes interpretation of plans and drawings used by industry to facilitate field application and production.

Intro-Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

Principles of gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), including setup, GTAW equipment. Instruction in various positions and joint designs. This is a non-credit course and eligible for payment plan.

Sources and characteristics of water. Includes water distribution systems, water mains, valves and hydrants, storage, meters and services, pump installation and operations, maintenance of customer meters, and corrosion control.

Basic Water Works Operation

This course includes instruction in the production, treatment, and distribution of potable water. Upon successful completion of Basic Water Works Operations training, participants have exposure to techniques that will allow for the proper operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.

Basic Wastewater Operation

This course in wastewater collection and treatment includes a brief overview of the water cycle. Topics include: activated sludge process; alternative and advanced treatment; characteristics of wastewater; flow measurements; lift (pumping) stations; ponds, disinfection and safety procedures; preliminary treatment; records and reports; sedimentation and fixed-film processes collection systems; biological treatment of wastewater; goals of wastewater treatment; the law and sources of pretreatment of domestic wastes; water cycle and water reuse.

Pipefitting II - Fabrication and Blueprint Reading

Continuation of pipe fabrication, rigging, pipe hangers and supports, blueprint reading, standards and specifications, and trade math. Course prerequisites are Pipefitting Core and Level 1, (PFPB 1050 and PFPB 1008).
