Certified Nursing Assistant Written Testing occurs after passing the skills testing and should be completed within twelve (12) months from the completion date of the CNA course.

Mental Healthcare Essentials is an introductory course designed for beginning healthcare professionals-such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)-who are interested in pursuing a career in the mental healthcare field. This course provides foundational knowledge and practical skills for supporting individuals with mental health needs. Participants will explore key topics including Mental Health First Aid, common mental health disorders, psychotropic medications and their indications, the culture and environment of treatment centers, effective de-escalation techniques, and Narcan administration. By the end of the course, learners will be prepared to engage confidently and compassionately in mental healthcare settings.
