Course Detail: W-HC-CNASKILLS_1A - Certified Nursing Assistant - Skills Testing

Students completing Certified Nursing Assistant coursework at The College of Eastern Idaho will be scheduled for their skills testing at the end of their class.  The first attempt for Skills Testing is included with tuition for CNA at CEI.  Any additional attempts for successful completion of the State of Idaho mandatory CNA skills testing will be charged to the student.

Your total due at registration for first attempt would be:

  • Skills exam: $75 per attempt
  • Written exam proctoring fee: $21

Individuals looking for State of Idaho reciprocity for an existing Certified Nursing Assistant qualification from another state or seeking to renew a lapsed Certified Nursing Assistant qualification MUST reach out to the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare to receive approval to take Skills and Written examinations to be placed on Idaho's Nurse Aide Registry.

Step 2: Create an account here in the registration system for CEI.

Step 3:  Email a copy of the approval letter to healthcareed@cei.edu

Step 4: Call 208-535-5345 to schedule the CNA Skills Testing and make payment.
