Health Physics Technician (HPT)

The Health Physics Technician (HPT) Program at the College of Eastern Idaho prepares students for entry-level employment as health physics technicians committed to protecting people, equipment, and the environment from unnecessary radiation exposure. This 16-week program combines focused classroom instruction with extensive hands-on laboratory training to build proficiency in radiation safety fundamentals, hazard identification, exposure-control practices, and accurate documentation.
