Join Amy Waliczek 200 RYT for a 10 week beginner yoga series. We will work with the fundamentals of the asanas (poses) and breath work (pranayama), encouraging a deeper connection to our mind and body. Great for beginners or as a refresher for those who have been practicing. Modifications, effective cueing, increased self awareness and an attentive instructor will ensure a safe practice for all participants. 

Please bring a mat, a blanket and blocks of you have them. I will provide a few extra mats and props.  

Can't wait to learn and grow together through the practice of Yoga!

Living Well with Parkinson's is designed for the person living with Parkinson's disease, their caregiver and/or family. A variety of topics will be discussed such as nutrition, medication management, cognition and fitness. Join us to learn how to live your best life with Parkinson's disease.

Nordic walking is a simple enhancement of normal walking, while adding the upper-body, much like a cross-country skier with walking poles. The poles remain behind the body and are used to engage several upper body muscles to create a full body workout. Nordic walking has been popular for many years in Europe. This class is designed as an introductory class to anyone interested in increasing their fitness level. Ages 18+ are encouraged to attend. 

*Walking poles are available for use during class.

Balance and strengthening yoga postures will be utilized to keep your body safe and mobile through your daily routines. Combined with yoga breathing and conscious movement this yoga course is excellent for those seniors who are able to move around easily but would like to add more strength and stability. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

*Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in and bring a yoga mat and/or blanket.
