There are so many different forms of written communication we use on a regular basis for both our professional and personal lives. In order to combat miscommunication and misunderstanding in your writing, editing and revision skills are extremely valuable. In this course, we will focus on types of writingyou use most often, whatever they may be. After establishing your purpose for writing, we will walk through the basics of revision and editing-checking for grammatical errors, but also for "bigger picture" ideas such as clarity andorganization.

Learn how to create a proposal capable of securing funds for your department or organization. This class will help beginners hone the skills needed to begin the research and prepare fundable proposals.

Whether you are a high school student, a parent planning your child's education or an adult learner, this is your opportunity to learn what types of financial assistance are available and how to qualify. Topics that will be covered include financial strategies, legal documents (wills, probate, revocable and non-revocable trusts, medical directives, durable powers of attorney, and do not resuscitate orders) and medical expense planning (Medicare,Medigap, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid,VA Benefits and long term care).
