Planes, Trains and Spooky Ghosts: Explore Atchison Kansas

Join us on a fascinating trip celebrating Amelia Earhart's connection with Atchison, KS, her beloved hometown. Our adventure starts at the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum, an art deco-inspired 17,000 sq. ft. hangar housing Muriel, the world's last remaining Lockheed Electra 10-E, identical to Earhart's final flight aircraft. Next, we'll explore the Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum, where she was born on July 24, 1897. Lunch awaits at the local favorite, Paolucci's restaurant. Afterward, we'll visit the Atchison County Historical Society, showcasing exhibits on Lewis and Clark, Amelia Earhart, Jesse Stone, and the county's railroad history. For those intrigued by haunted history, our final tour offers a spooky treat. Just in time for Halloween, we'll delve into Atchison's ghostly occurrences and its reputation as a hotspot for paranormal investigators. Dinner at Annie's Place in Topeka wraps up our unforgettable day. Don't miss this chance to honor a brave explorer and immerse yourself in Atchison's rich heritage! All trips begin and end on a Village Tour bus that departs and arrives at the Hughes Metropolitan Complex at 5015 E 29th St. N, Wichita, KS.
