3D Printing Technologies for Biomedical Applications, Morning Only, 9th-12th Grades

Traditional manufacturing involves the formative and subtractive methods that need several stages and costly production, which constraints the capacity of the manufacturing in the industry. Moreover, these conventional methods don't consider complex systems that are frequently needed in biomedical designs and applications. In this summer camp, the high school students will get to know additive manufacturing techniques and their applications in many industries. Students will design 3D objects (e.g., scaffold, hydrogel, and nanofabrication), convert them into code, and print them. From idea to complete biomedical structure will unleash students' creativity and innovation.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made in writing. A $20.00 administrative fee will be assessed on all cancellations. Requests for refunds must be submitted to the Office of University Conferences no later than two weeks prior to the start of the camp. No refunds will be given after that date unless your camper has an illness.  In the event of a camper illness, we urge you to keep your camper at home. If this occurs, you will receive a full refund minus the $20.00 administrative fee.
