Historic Walking Tour of The Fairmount Neighborhood

The Fairmount Neighborhood has had ties to Wichita State for over125 years. Spend an enjoyable fall morning on an amazing walking tour of over100 years of history from the Victorian elegance of Fairmount Cottage to theInnovation Campus's 21st century urban environment. Along the way, we willlearn about the Old Frisco Railway (aka The Redbud Trail), local cemeteries,and WSU's historic hangouts. We will have lunch at Social Tap and reflect onhow the next 125 years might unfold.

Schedule:

8:30am Arrive Social Tap Restaurant for registration and a light snack

9am - Tour begins - please wear your walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather

11am - Tour ends at Social Tap for lunch

Trip Cancellation: A 15% administrative fee will be assessed on all cancellations received more than 7 days prior to departure.  NO REFUNDS will be issued within 6 days of trip departure.
