Course Detail: CE--LEADTRIP - Lead Type, Bullets and Brazen Nerve Trip
Join us as we explore Kansas journalism past and present. Our day begins at the WSU Hughes Metropolitan Complex where we will board a luxury motor coach and travel to the NEW Wichita Eagle Building in Old Town. After a tour and refreshments, it's on to the Historic Old Cowtown Museum to visit a replica of the Eagle's first building. We will then travel to Olpe, KS for lunch at the world-famous Chicken House, listed by kansastravel.org as one of Kansas' most memorable restaurants. After lunch we will travel to Emporia, where we will be met by local historian Roger Heineken, and tour area historical sites associated with William Allen White, renowned American newspaper editor and author.
