Training Information: WFE-0411 - Trail Building & Stewardship for Non-Motorized Multi-Use Trail Boot Camp

This intensive two-day boot camp provides a taste of what trail building is all about. Work with professionals at Kingdom Trails Association to learn trail maintenance and building techniques and the basics of creating environmentally sustainable multi-use trails. By the end of this class, you will be able to:
 
?    Identify environmental issues on existing trails, what may have caused them, and apply possible solutions
?    Build a new multi-use trail or reroute an existing trail
?    Apply International Mountain Bike Association's Five Essential Elements of Sustainable Trails concepts
?    Properly use a variety of trail-related tools, including, but not limited to, Pulaski, McCleod, Rogue hoe, Hazel hoe, and a Clinometer
 
Successful participants earn a Kingdom Trails-Vermont State University Certificate of Completion.

REGISTRATION: Registration closes two (2) weeks before the training starts. Any registrations from the initial close up to five (5) days before the start will be assessed a $50 late registration fee. No registrations within five (5) days of the training.

CANCELLATION: Cancellations occurring within five (5) days of the training will be assessed a $75 cancellation fee. No refunds are given for no-shows.
