Training Information: CED-0902 - Electrical Type S - 144 HR

The content of this course is specific to Chapters 1-4 of NFPA 70 National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E Handbook for Electrical Safety in the Workplace, and the State of Vermont Division of Fire Safety - Vermont Electrical Safety Rules. This course will be a total of 144 instruction hours and will suffice as Level 1 within the four-year Electrical Apprenticeship Program should you wish to pursue a journeyman license in the future. Instruction will combine lectures with the use of PowerPoint slides as well as other educational/industry resources. 

This course is a recognized training program through the Vermont Division of Fire Safety Electrical Licensing Board. This course, along with 2,000 hrs experience through signed affidavits, will qualify you to apply for your Type S specialty license.
