Training Information: CED-0582 - IA Wastewater Service Providers Training II: Electrical & Plumbing Field Management & How to talk Chemistry
For Vermont IA Service Providers!
The State of Vermont hopes to move from Approval of IA Service Providers toward state licensure of Innovative/Alternative Services Providers for Wastewater Disposal Systems. In anticipation of this, the VT Department of Environmental Conversation Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division (DWGPD) is working with Vermont State University to offer these state-approved workshops and individual certification.
This second workshop is targeted towards IA field technicians and will focus on managing electrical and plumbing concerns in the field and communicating with homeowners regarding the chemistry of their IA system.
These topics were developed from attendees' feedback during the first training session and from DWGPD staff.
This first two-workshop series is paid for through a state grant, so attendees are not charged. Future workshops may be fee-based.
