Biography: In 1988, Dean Priebe brewed his first batch of beer in McMahon Hall on the UW Seattle campus. He is now Brewmaster at Icicle Brewing Company where he has won 136 awards with 28 different beers. As Icicle Brewing grew into one of the top 20 producing breweries in our state, his job evolved. Now, he trains staff in the brewery and sister-restaurant, oversees four other brewers, manages daily operations, works on expansion projects, and continues to invent new beers. Graduate of UW Seattle, Siebel Institute of Technology and Master Brewers Association programs.
