The rate of change in today's work environment and marketplace has accelerated the need for human resource planning and development to maintain and enhance organizational competitiveness. As jobs and customers evolve, ongoing attention to employee development and organizational change can make a substantial contribution to the organization. This course addresses topics vital to sound human resource planning and development, such as identifying human resource needs, and establishing activities/programs that strategically align with the organization's goals and objectives.

You will learn ways to successfully contribute to organizational performance, measure the success of implemented activities/programs, and establish credibility in the human resource function.

Linda Bailey
Biography: Linda L. Bailey, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, is president of Bailey Consulting Group, a human resources consulting firm specializing in crisis intervention and continuing management solutions for employee/employer relationships. She trains groups of all sizes on HR issues. She has held numerous positions in local SHRM chapters, and is currently a member of SHRM, HR Tampa, SHRMA, and Suncoast ASTD. She has conducted the Certification program at USF for over 10 years and prepared hundreds of HR professionals for the certification exam.
