Course Title: (HIS12226) THROUGH THE LENS: A CULTURAL HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY
This class will explore how photographic images have documented and sometimes shaped American history from the Civil War to today. Through iconic photographs, participants examine moments like the Great Depression, World War II, the Civil Rights Movement, and Vietnam, and learn simple techniques to interpret images and understand visual storytelling. No experience needed.
