INTRO TO THE WORLD OF PROGRAMMING: Ever wonder what's behind your favorite video game? It's CODE! This course is designed with the aspiring programmer in mind! Have fun coding with the Code for Life open source game as it starts from the introduction of programming concepts and slowly moves up into advanced skills and techniques. This course is designed for beginners of any age.

As students progress, they will learn about Python and how the games they have been playing for years translate to coding in the real world. This course uses gamification as a platform for learning. Come play the coding games for a week while you learn and grow your skills.

Just 13% of computer scientists are women, Code for Life wants to change that. Girls are encouraged to jump in on this course too.

LUNCH: Students staying for full day or for both morning and afternoon sessions can bring or buy their lunch. All students will eat lunch on Campus in The Commons, a small food court.
