BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE CHESS: Chess teaches critical thinking and problem solving, giving students the mental discipline needed to succeed in school and in life. Studies have shown that chess helps kids to improve their math and reading skills. Spend a week learning chess from instructors who are seasoned tournament competitors. The summer Chess Academy teaches students of all different skill levels.

MUSIC ACADEMY: VOCALS I Beginners/Intermediate (Middle & High School) IN-PERSON

VOCALS I: This class focuses on the fundamentals of vocal instruction and technique. Whether you are an aspiring virtuoso or a novice trying to find your singing voice, this program provides an engaging and rewarding musical experience that will expand student's horizons. Students will receive group voice work in a master repertoire class with students of similar experience and skill, individualized coaching, music theory and sight reading instruction.

VIRTUAL REALITY, WEARABLE TECH & ENTREPRENEURSHIP: (Middle and High School) IN-PERSON

VIRTUAL REALITY, WEARABLE TECH & ENTREPRENEURSHIP:What do the human body, music, and video games have in common? Wearable Technology. Students will have the opportunity to explore innovations from the realm of virtual reality and haptics while developing innovative ideas of their own. The world is constantly changing, especially in the midst of a pandemic, yet those influencing it the most are tech innovators of the world. Students will not only redefine themselves as innovators but future entrepreneurs with a plan.

Wearable Tech Ventures (WTV)- Global Youth Hackathon: (Middle and High School) IN-PERSON

Wearable Tech Ventures (WTV)- Global Youth Hackathon:Over the course of a week, middle and high school students will be immersed in Wearable Tech culture and encouraged to exercise their imagination to create interesting and innovative hacks and product ideas. WTV Global Youth Hackathon is not a typical hackathon: it's a registered 501c3 nonprofit providing a welcoming, engaging, and creative environment to support all students, girls, minorities and abilities alike. This annual gathering allows everyone ranging from beginners to seasoned hackers to explore technology and develop their skills as engineers, designers, and creators.
