Course Detail: CYBR103 - Cyber 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity (High School)

The security of information technology is a constantly evolving field, of which most people don't fully understand. As networked technologies become integrated into every facet of our lives, knowing how to protect our devices and networks is something we all need now more than ever. Cybersecurity and data breaches are in the news almost every day. Google, Uber, Target, and our government agencies are under constant attack.
 
Introduction to Cybersecurity 1 exposes students to exciting hands-on activities by top industry professionals in ethical hacking, digital forensics, and open-source investigation. Students learn about industry requirements and exploring the many possibilities for choosing a career in cybersecurity. 

LUNCH: Students staying for full day or for both morning and afternoon sessions can bring or buy their lunch.  All students will eat lunch on Campus in The Commons, a small food court.
