OSHA 521 - OSHA Guide to Industrial Hygiene

This four day course focuses on industrial hygiene practices and related OSHA regulations and procedures. Course topics include recognition, evaluation, and control of chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic hazards, Permissible Exposure Limits (PEL), OSHA health standards; respiratory protection; engineering controls, OSHA sampling protocols, and strategies, and workplace health program elements. The course features workshops in health hazard recognition, OSHA health standards and a safety and health program workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: If the class is Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) via Zoom it is intended for persons who are previous customers or reside or work within the OSHA Birmingham Region which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida Panhandle, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. If you live or work outside of this region and are not a previous customer, we encourage you to seek virtual training within your Regional Authorized OTI Education Centers.
