We are celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Revolution! Similarly, in 1825, Americans celebrated the 50th anniversary. The return visit to the U.S. by Marquis de Lafayette, the last surviving major general of the War of Independence, was one of the most celebrated events
of the 19th century. Join us as a Revolutionary War veteran talks about Lafayette's travels across Alabama and its significance to us.

The course will introduce students to the physical science of climate change by exploring the Earth's atmosphere and what drives changes in the climate system. Together we will investigate the impacts of climate change through observations and examine possible future consequences.
