Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun 
paradise as over 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom 
in all their glory. Festival lovers are treated to one of the 
most extravagant displays of color in the nation as they 
visit the cherry blossom capital of the world. We will 
take a guided tour of the Cannonball House, named for 
damage sustained during the Civil War. It is an example of 
Greek Revival architecture, featuring period furniture and 
an English garden. Its rich history includes the Adelphean 
Collection, a Civil War and General Museum, and more.
