Welcome to the Managing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Programs course. This self-paced course will introduce you to the proper selection and use of PPE in the workplace. This course will discuss: The regulatory requirements requiring the use of PPE, How to determine the correct type of PPE needed for the environment and the proper use of PPE. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to: Demonstrate knowledge of the selection and use of PPE by successfully completing lesson quizzes and example exercises. In addition, this course will prepare students for future course work required by the Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program.
