The DHR Supervisors' Training Conference is designed for State of Alabama Department of Child Welfare Supervisors. This training features a variety of breakout sessions featuring topics such as team building, safety, recruitment and permanency. The program is designed specifically for supervisors to help support best practices and the implementation of the State Program Improvement Plan (PIP). DHR offers this training twice in order for supervisory staff attendance to be divided between the conferences. Half of the supervisors from each county should attend in June, and the other half attend in July.
