Course Detail: WTES100 - Direct Current

This 24-hour course introduces fundamental electrical principles, including: the behavior of voltage, current, power, and resistor circuits. This course contains 22 lecture hours and 2 lab hours, taught asynchronously. Lectures are delivered online, and the lab portion will be in-person by appointment. By the end of this course students will be able to: (1) explain fundamental electrical principles, (2) Calculate voltage, current, and power in simple resistor circuits, (3) Measure voltage and current in simple circuits, (4) Demonstrate safety in the lab using measurement equipment and LOTO procedures.
