Course Detail: LG2140 - Interviewing & Investigating for the Legal Professional (1 Cr)

INTERVIEWING AND INVESTIGATION FOR THE LEGAL PROFESSIONAL (formerly LGL 214) This course provides a study of the principles, methods and investigative techniques that a legal professional utilizes to locate, gather, document and summarize information obtained from outside sources relevant to a case. Interviewing and investigating skills will be covered as well as the specialized skills required to obtain and summarize medical records, and to understand and apply the process of redaction. The principles learned will be applied to practical exercises. Prerequisites:LG1030: Intro to Legal StudiesLG3020: Litigation
