Governors State University Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), in partnership with the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), presents the second annual conference in the Chicago Southland to address strategies to retain professional educators. GovState will provide opportunities by which PK-22 district leaders, elected officials, representatives from regional offices, educator preparers, and educator candidates will increase their knowledge and expand their toolkit of effective collaborative strategies to address teacher retention.

• PK-22 school district leaders: Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, HR Director, Board members, Curriculum Directors, Special Education Directors, ESL Directors, Veteran Educators  
• Elected Officials in the Chicago Southland
• Representatives from Regional Offices of Education and Education and Intermediate Service Centers
• Higher Education professional educator administrators, coordinators, and faculty

We know that this is a very important topic and event for the community.  Due to limited seating, the school/organization may send up to three representatives.
