Sharonda Bacon

Biography: Dr. Sharonda Bacon is an alumna of Capella University, where she obtained her Doctorate Degree in Leadership. She earned both her Master's degree and her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Strayer University - Savannah Campus. She spent several years working as a manager for the retail giant Walmart, where she mentored individuals and helped them advance within the company. Currently, Dr. Bacon works in Workforce Development and has extensive experience in teaching, human resources development, conflict resolution, leadership, and diversity training.

Dr. Bacon is also a motivational speaker and frequently speaks to students at Strayer University during their Town Hall meetings. Her professional affiliations are diverse, including being a Board Member of the non-profit organization "GIFTS" (Giving Is From the Soul) Inc. and serving as a mentor for the Gulfstream Student Leadership Program. She is deeply committed to giving back to the community.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Bacon is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Alpha Chi Honor Society, and the Golden Key Honor Society. She is a commissioned Notary Public, a certified mediator, and a member of The Church of Redemption in Rincon, GA. She is the proud parent of two handsome and intelligent sons.

Dr. Bacon is honored to serve as a Savannah Technical College instructor in College and Career Success Skills. She lives by the motto, "Blessed to be a blessing to others."
