Battle of Briar Creek: A Revolutionary Georgia Tour

Departing from Statesboro, participants will visit key historic locations including Newington, the Brier Creek Battlefield at Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area, and Millhaven Plantation while learning about colonial Georgia, the Revolutionary War, George Washington's 1791 visit to Georgia, and other significant moments in local history. The tour will include historical narration, educational materials, lunch in Sylvania, and a possible living history demonstration by members of the Brier Creek Sons of the American Revolution.
