Discover how shadow and light can create drama to the subject being painted.This class is for those students that have always wanted to enjoy making paintings and for those that want to learn how to develop their artistic skills by improving their understanding of the painting medium. Students start by making paintings of basic observed compositions.Students learn steps that improve their work overtime as they work toward making more complex paintings. Students learn about different tools, materials and techniques used in the making of paintings. Learning to see with greater clarity what is happening in the works students create is emphasized.
