This beginning class is for those students who want to understand the underlying components that occur in every drawing. Students will learn a variety of techniques using a variety or drawing materials and tools. Emphasis is placed on visual analysis, structural sketches, quick sketches, layering and long drawings on good paper.Students start out creating small, quick drawings from observations of small basic environments and then move to larger more complicated illusionary space. Class runs simultaneously with academic Drawing course. *A senior citizen discount is available. Persons who are 65+ and live on Galveston Island are eligible for the discount.
