Whether you teach grades K-12 or are a specialized teacher, a professor of higher education, or lead in an administrative capacity, Action Research is the course for you. This research course will make an impact on your own practice, your school, districts, and education as a whole. Through the exploration of intentional research, participants will target an area of personal concern and explore possible solutions and interventions that can improve practice.


This course is designed to strengthen participants' awareness and response to students who are victims of violence and aggression in our schools, as well as students who respond to conflicts and difficulties with undue aggression and bullying behavior. CASEL defines Social and Emotional Learning as the 'process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and share empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions.


Dealing with parents is one of the most difficult tasks for teachers and administrators today. Yet it is essential to know how to handle difficult situations and to establish positive relationships with students' parents. This course will equip teachers and administrators with the skills needed to expertly navigate even the most challenging encounter with parents while feeling that you have made a positive and meaningful impact.


Have you ever wondered the best way to resolve conflict in your classroom? This course is designed for teachers, administrators and other educational professionals from Pre-K through 14. Learn best practices and methods currently being used in conflict resolution in the classroom. Not only will you build skills to reach students, you will become a go-to for other teachers, staff and school community stakeholders.


Step confidently into your role as a teacher leader by discovering who you are as a leader and how you can influence change in your school community. In this course, you will explore your leadership identity, clarify your mission and vision, and design the principles that guide your daily practice. You'll engage in activities such as conducting a personal SWOT analysis, applying Patrick Lencioni's Working Genius model, and building collaborative team structures that foster purposeful growth.
