Course Detail: TCYL - TESOL Certificate for Young Learners

The TESOL for Young Learners Certification is a research-informed, practice-oriented program designed for educators teaching English to children aged 6-12 in multilingual and international contexts. Grounded in key Second Language Acquisition theories and child development principles, the course equips teachers with the knowledge and tools to design engaging, age-appropriate, communicative lessons that foster language development, creativity, and confidence in young learners.

Participants learn how to plan interactive lessons, manage primary classrooms effectively, develop literacy and vocabulary systematically, assess young learners meaningfully, and integrate technology responsibly. Through practical assignments and portfolio-based tasks, teachers leave the course with ready-to-use materials and a strong pedagogical foundation to teach children successfully in diverse educational settings.
